Overcoming Early Challenges

Olly’s journey wasn’t easy. At 17, he was diagnosed with type one diabetes and advised to find an office job. But inspired by James Bond and encouraged by supportive nurses, Olly was determined to become a stuntman.

Life as a Stuntman

Managing diabetes on set required creativity, like modifying costumes to take insulin shots. Olly's craziest moments include performing stunts in heavy costumes for "Thor" and endless takes for "Captain America". One of his toughest challenges was a horse-riding stunt that almost left him paralyzed.

Breaking into the Industry

Olly’s training included karate, horse riding, and scuba diving. Persistence was key. Despite not finishing his official training, he landed his first gig on "Robin Hood" by reaching out to stunt coordinators and showing eagerness to work and learn.

Memorable Stunts

From sword fights in "Game of Thrones" to epic battles in "Snow White and the Huntsman", Olly’s stunts are spectacular. He loved the camaraderie with fellow stuntmen and the thrill of action-packed Marvel scenes.

Adventures Beyond the Screen

Olly’s adventurous spirit led him to the Mongol Rally, driving an old Hillman Imp from London to Mongolia. This journey was filled with breakdowns, cultural encounters, and unforgettable stories.
